For those of you who know, I have tonsilitis, and I spent the weekend sleeping to make time pass faster so that I won't think so much of the pain. Can you imagine having to take diclofenac / tramadol for the pain?
Anyway, just some snippets of what has been happening so far.
1. Mid-autumn festival
Headed down to Takashimaya this year for mooncake shopping.
(Assorted flavours mooncakes from Fairmont Singapore for the dearest one's family)
And here's what the dearest one got for me: mango with pomelo-flavoured (Yang2 Zhi1 Gan1 Lu4) mooncakes from Goodwood Park!
I decided to give green tea mooncakes a shot, so I got this for my family, from Ritz Carlton. Check out their nice packaging.
(Snowskin greentea mooncakes with yolk)
2. Outing with current colleagues and bosses
Started off with a steamboat dinner, and drinks after that. Special mention need to be given for the location we chose.
It's situated opposite Raffles Hospital. When I stepped in, I was amazed at the ambience. The decor was great, a great place to chill. There's even a live band that played a few songs.
Very posh and nice place I have to say.
The place keeps their wine in storage places like this. This is a rather tall structure which is approximately 2 storeys high. There's a waitress dressed like a fairy who will take the bottles of wine for you as you order them.
And you wonder, how does this waitress get the wine from this tower?
The waitress actually flies up the tower to get! with the help of a harness of course. Akin to a fairy flying around the tower to get the wine ordered.
Cool ah! Worth a second visit, for the ambience lah, what were you thinking about.
