    Universal Studios!

We wanted to go on the 10th of August instead, but since all the tickets were sold out, we could only settle for the 11th of August instead! I like the system of booking tickets online, and printing your own tickets! Save the hassle of needing to queue up to buy tickets.

Upon entering the theme park, I spotted my favourite character, a dragon! There's always time for a photo of a dragon! I think it's part of some chinese restaurant.

Walking around, we came to Far Far Away, and spotted this nice castle! But I think the castle in Disneyland is nicer, but nevertheless I pretty much like this castle too. I wonder if it lights up at night like the way the Disneyland castle do?

    (The Far Far Away castle)

We wanted to watch the Waterworld show at 230pm but it was raining cats and dogs, so we left the queue and headed to Far Far Away section instead, and watched this 3D shrek show! Good 3D effects with movable seats and sprinkles of water! The sprinklers are activated to complement the story!

Heading on to the ancient egyptian section, we decided to explore around, and decided to take the Mummy's rollercoaster ride. Luckily I held on to my spectacles, it almost flew out of my face from the steep turns. Oh and one plus point, there're free lockers available for rental (free for the 1st 30 minutes of usage).

I like the statues. Maybe egyptian statues can be my new liking apart from dragons!

We managed to catch the 430pm Waterworld show. *SPOILERS ALERT*
It tells a story on board a ship, about some villian capturing some heroine and how another hero managed to slay the baddie.

The great part of this show, is that real pyrotechnics (blanks of course) were used, and structures were destroyed as part of the show. I wonder how much time they require to put everything back in place for the next showtime.

    Real explosions!

It was time for tea, and we headed to the foodcourt in Jurassic Park. The foodcourt is decorated with paintings of animals belonging to the dinosaur era, and there's this mega-big bone statue of the T-rex right smack in the middle of the food court. You can find local delights like Nasi Lemak and Laksa in this foodcourt, but priced sky-high. The laksa we had was good, but felt that the price could be lower. $7.80 for a bowl of laksa is -_-. Luckily we had a $10 food voucher.

Walking down, we managed to catch sight of the streets in US. There were structures designed exactly like the buildings in the states. There was even a yellow taxi present, a model of course.

The theme park closes at 7pm, and we managed to catch one last show at 630pm. It was a show showing the special effects created by Steven Spielberg, and viewers were treated to a simulation of how it's like to be caught in a storm.

We left at 7 plus after getting a souvenir (we had a free $10 mechandise voucher too!), and having some time to spare, we toured around the RWS. We should try the casino one day!
